What is richmond braves?

The Richmond Braves were a minor league baseball team based in Richmond, Virginia. The team was founded in 1966 and played in the International League, which is a Triple-A affiliate league of Major League Baseball.

The team played their home games at The Diamond, a stadium located in Richmond. The Braves were affiliated with the Atlanta Braves for much of their existence, serving as their top minor league affiliate.

Throughout their history, the Richmond Braves produced several talented players who went on to have successful careers in Major League Baseball. Some notable players who played for the Richmond Braves include Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones, Javy Lopez, and Rafael Furcal.

Unfortunately, the Richmond Braves were relocated to Gwinnett County, Georgia in 2009, where they became known as the Gwinnett Braves. The team was ultimately renamed the Gwinnett Stripers in 2018.
